The Lowestoft Model Engineering and Model Making Exhibition, or Lowmex, will take place at the Energy Skills Centre in Lowestoft from 31st October to 1st November 2026. The event is being organised by the Halesworth and District Model Engineering Society and promises to be a family-friendly occasion.
The exhibition will feature displays by a range of local modelling clubs, showcasing hundreds of exhibits including model engineering, traction engines and lorries, model railway layouts, boats, aircraft, military modelling, horology, steampunk models, Daleks, Star Wars models, and much more. Visitors will also be able to browse the trade stands and enjoy refreshments on site.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, with admission costing £7.50 for adults and £2.50 for children aged 12 to 18.
