Liverpool and West Lancs. O Gauge Group (Lawlogg) is hosting an Open Day at St Monica's Parish Centre in Bootle on Saturday 15th November 2025.

This event promises to be an exciting day out for all railway enthusiasts, with four O-gauge layouts on display. Among them are two brand new layouts currently in construction, offering a glimpse into the creativity and skill of the group's members.

Visitors are not only welcome to browse the layouts, but also to bring their own stock to run on the layouts, providing an opportunity for enthusiasts to show off their own models. In addition to the layouts, there will be a range of other displays and activities, including a MERG display, modelling demonstrations, and a micro-layout.

Other attractions include a second-hand stall, where visitors can find unique and interesting items for their own modelling projects. Light refreshments will be available throughout the day, and there will also be a club information stand for those interested in learning more about the group and getting involved.

The event is free to attend, and there is plenty of free parking available on site. The centre is also easily accessible by public transport, with full details available on the group's website.
