The Cambrian Heritage Railways are hosting a Live Steam and Model Railway Exhibition at their base in Croesowallt. The event will take place over the weekend of 29th to 30th August 2026.
Admission to the exhibition will be available from 10am to 4pm on both days. The exhibition will feature a range of model railway layouts, with eight layouts on display. In addition to the model railway displays, visitors will also be able to enjoy rides on steam trains, courtesy of the Cambrian Heritage Railway.
Ellesmere Model Railway club have organised the model railway exhibition as part of the event. Adults will be able to purchase a joint ticket for a steam ride and exhibition entry, priced at £10. Children's admission to the exhibition will be £2.
Refreshments will be available on site, and a car park will also be provided for visitors' use.
