The Leigh Festival of Model Railways and Transport Modelling will take place at the Leigh Leisure Centre in Atherton. The event is being organised by the Leigh Model Railway Society, who are looking forward to showcasing their latest models and sharing their passion for model railways and transport modelling.
The festival will run over the weekend of 13-14 September 2025, with doors open from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sunday. Admission prices are £8.00 for adults, with accompanied children attending for free.
Visitors can expect to see a wide range of model railways and transport models on display, with over 30 layouts and exhibits to explore. In addition to the models, there will also be modelling demonstrations and a club information stand, providing a great opportunity for enthusiasts to learn new skills and meet like-minded people.
On the weekend, a variety of refreshments will be available, including food and drink. There is also free parking available on site, making it easy to get to and from the event.
