Kendal Model Railway Club's Annual Exhibition Returns to Kendal Leisure Centre
The Kendal Model Railway Club is set to host its annual exhibition at Kendal Leisure Centre from Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th January 2026. This popular event showcases the best of model railways in the north west of England, with a range of layouts, traders and other stands of railway interest.
Twelve layouts will be on display, offering something for every railway enthusiast, from small and intricate to large and complex. Visitors can also browse the 14 traders selling a wide range of modelling supplies, books, and gifts. In addition to the layouts and traders, the club will have a stand offering information about the Kendal Model Railway Club and its activities.
Refreshments will be available throughout the exhibition, making it a great day out for the whole family. Modelling demonstrations will be held throughout the weekend, providing an opportunity for visitors to learn new skills and techniques. The exhibition is open on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Admission prices are £6.50 for adults, £2.50 for children and £18.00 for a family ticket.
Visitors are advised to note that a car park is available on site, but charges will apply. The exhibition is a great opportunity to meet fellow railway enthusiasts, see some fantastic models and get inspiration for your own modelling projects.
