The Ilkeston (Woodside) Model Railway Club is pleased to announce that its 23rd Annual Model Railway Exhibition will be taking place on Sunday 22nd February 2026.
The exhibition will be held at the Heanor Miners Welfare, Heanor, and will run from 10am to 4pm. Admission is £5.00 for adults, while accompanied children under 16 will be admitted free of charge.
This year's event promises to be as popular as its predecessor, with 10 model railway layouts on display and 6 traders selling a variety of model railway related goods. Visitors will also be able to enjoy refreshments from the on-site cafe, which proved to be a hit with attendees in 2025.
As in previous years, the club's cafe will be open throughout the day, offering a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as a selection of snacks and light meals. The club's information stand will also be on hand to provide modellers with useful tips and advice.
Free parking is available on site, making it easy for visitors to bring their families and enjoy a fun day out. The club is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the event and is confident that it will be a great success.
