The Hillingdon Railway Modellers are hosting an Open Day at the Yiewsley Baptist Church Hall in Hillingdon on Saturday, 06 December 2025. This event provides a unique opportunity for model railway enthusiasts to bring their O, OO or N gauge locomotives and trains to run on the club's three separate test tracks.
The event will take place from 10am to 3pm, with adult admission costing £6.00. On the day, modellers will have the option to use either DC or DCC control systems.
This is not an exhibition, but rather a chance for fellow modellers to meet, share knowledge and experiences, and test their models in a relaxed and informal setting. Expert advice will be available from the club's knowledgeable members, should you encounter any issues with your models. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
The event is located near the West Drayton railway station, which is approximately a 12-minute walk away.
