On-site café.
Paid car parking is available on site, with limited free on-street parking around the venue.
Located on major bus routes to Hastings Station.
* We recommend public transport as parking will fill quickly. If coming by car, best park on side roads for free around 1/2 mile away and take the regular bus service to outside venue or from the station.
Early entry for all pre-booked ticket holders at 9:45 am (normal opening time is 10:00 am).
Please note that, apart from guide dogs, animals are not permitted in the venue.
Full wheelchair access to the exhibition hall is available via a lift; venue staff will assist if required.
The exhibition is located on the lower ground floor of the venue, accessible via a short flight of stairs. Please note some of the smaller trade stands/ pre loved stands might not take card payments, so bring some cash for those little bargains.

Quest 2 which is S gauge will also be giving a full running demo on test track. This loco is built for the attempt at the World speed record for a model train. This was a major attraction at one of our other shows last year with the prototype Quest 1 and kids seem to have great fun being allowed to stand behind the jet engine on launch and feeling the power of the engine.

The Hastings Model Railway Show 2026 will take place on Sunday 17th May at Summerfields Leisure Centre, located on Bohemia Road, Hastings, TN34 1ET. The event is organised by Model Railway Quest and will run from 10am to 4pm, with early entry for pre-booked ticket holders from 9:45am.

The show has been relocated to a larger venue, following a successful event last year that reached capacity. The new location offers ample space for the 20 layouts and 17 trade stands that will be on display, as well as an on-site café and paid car parking.

Admission prices are £8 for adults, £5 for children aged 3-16, and £15 for families. Special rates are available for rail staff and TFL staff with staff passes, at £5. Pre-booked tickets can be purchased through the Wegottickets website.

The venue is easily accessible by public transport, with buses running every 10 minutes from Hastings Rail Station to the Summerfields Leisure Centre. The centre is also located near the Hastings Museum, which features a section dedicated to the railways of Hastings and offers free admission.

The show will feature a range of model railway layouts and trade stands, with a variety of goods and services on offer. While some trade stands may not accept card payments, it is recommended to bring cash for any purchases. The exhibition hall is fully wheelchair accessible, and venue staff will provide assistance if required.

Model Railway Quest expects around 600-800 visitors to attend the event, which is a significant increase from previous years. The organiser is committed to keeping trade stand prices low, in order to make the event an attractive proposition for visitors and traders alike.
