Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society's Model Railway Exhibition Returns for its 50th Year
The Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society is delighted to announce that its annual model railway exhibition will be returning to Northfleet School for Girls on Saturday 01 November and Sunday 02 November. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a larger selection of exciting layouts, quality trade stands and railway societies on display.
The exhibition will take place in a fully accessible venue, which is conveniently located close to the A2, Ebbsfleet station and Bluewater shopping centre. Visitors will benefit from free on-site parking, a regular bus service that stops nearby, and wheelchair access. The friendly atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the society's events is sure to make a return appearance.
Among the highlights of the exhibition will be a visit from children's author Simon Hall on Saturday. He will be bringing a selection of his books and will be doing readings from them, providing a fun and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. In addition to the exhibits and author's appearance, the exhibition will feature modelling demonstrations, a club information stand and children's activities. Refreshments will be available throughout the event.
