The Guildford O Gauge Group's Spring Open Day will take place on 26th April 2026 at Normandy Village Hall, Flexford. This event has been a regular occurrence for many years and will feature a number of activities and displays for model railway enthusiasts.
Nine traders will be present at the event, selling a range of model railway related goods. In addition, there will be five model railway layouts on display, with Normandy Junction being one of the main attractions, operating 14 full length trains throughout the day. Visitors will also have the opportunity to use the club's test track to run their own rolling stock.
A bring and buy will also be held during the event, allowing visitors to purchase second-hand model railway items. Refreshments will be available, courtesy of the local WI, with all profits going to charity. Free parking is available on site, making it easy for visitors to attend the event. Admission costs £5.00 for adults, with accompanied children under the age of 12 admitted free.
