A brand-new event celebrating the best of the model railway world across multiple locations on our heritage line.
With over 40 layouts in different gauges on display and a wide variety of trade stands, this is set to be one of the largest model railway events in the region. Whether you are a seasoned modeller, a collector, or simply curious, there will be something for everyone.

The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway is hosting a Model Railway Weekend event in 2026. The event will take place at Toddington, Gloucestershire, on 26th to 27th September, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Over 40 model railway layouts in different gauges will be on display, showcasing a wide range of scale and detail. Ten trade stands will also be present, offering a variety of goods and services for model railway enthusiasts.
The event will be held at Toddington and Winchcombe Stations, with a diesel train providing a shuttle service between the two locations, in addition to the regular steam services. Visitors will be able to park for free at Toddington Station, which also offers disabled facilities. Alternative parking is available at Broadway and Cheltenham Racecourse stations.
Refreshments will be available throughout the event.
