The Fifteenth Vintage Hornby Train Show, organised by the Bristol and Somerset Group of the Heritage Railway Correspondence and Carriage Association, is set to take place at The King Alfred School, Burnham-on-Sea, on 1st November 2025.
This annual event promises to be a fascinating day out for model railway enthusiasts, with a wide range of vintage layouts on display. The show will feature a total of ten layouts, showcasing a variety of Hornby models in both O-Gauge and OO-Gauge. Visitors will be able to see the latest in vintage model railway equipment and learn about the history and development of the hobby.
The event will also feature seven traders selling a range of model railway-related goods, making it an ideal opportunity to stock up on any items you may need to enhance your own layout. Accompanied children are admitted free of charge, making it a great day out for the whole family.
In addition to the layouts and traders, refreshments will be available throughout the day, and visitors can browse the club information stand to learn more about the Bristol and Somerset Group of the HRCA. There will also be free parking available on site, making it easy to get to and from the event.
The show will run from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and admission costs £5.00 for adults. We look forward to seeing you there!
