The Gainsborough Model Railway Society is hosting an Easter Open Days event at the Gainsborough Model Railway in Gainsborough. The event will take place on 4th April 2026 and 5th April 2026, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

Admission to the event costs £5.00 for adults, £4.00 for children and £15.00 for a family ticket. The event features a single O Gauge layout, loosely based on the LNER London to Leeds Central railway line. This impressive layout measures over half a mile in length and boasts an impressive collection of over 180 locomotives and over 400 items of rolling stock.

Visitors will be able to see the layout in action, showcasing one of the largest O Gauge model railways in the country. Please note that wheelchair access is limited to certain parts of the building. Refreshments will be available on site, and there is also free parking available.
