Gainsborough Model Railway Society Announces December Open Days

The Gainsborough Model Railway Society is proud to announce its December Open Days, taking place on the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th December. From 1.30pm to 5.30pm on both days, visitors can enjoy a showcase of model railway excellence at the society's Gainsborough Model Railway.

The highlight of the event is the O Gauge layout, which is loosely based on the LNER London to Leeds Central line. This impressive model railway features over 180 locomotives and over 400 items of rolling stock, all running on over half a mile of track. It is one of the largest O Gauge model railways in the country, and a must-see for any railway enthusiast.
