Gainsborough Model Railway Society's December Open Day takes place on 7 December 2025.
The event will be held at the Gainsborough Model Railway, Gainsborough, and will run from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Admission prices are Adults £5.00, Children £4.00, and Family tickets are available for £15.00.
This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the largest O Gauge model railways in the country. The layout is loosely based on the LNER London to Leeds Central and features over 180 locomotives and over 400 items of rolling stock, running on more than half a mile of track.
Visitors will be able to see the impressive scale model in operation, with a vast array of trains and trains cars on display. Please note that wheelchair access is limited to certain parts of the building, so visitors with mobility issues may need to make alternative arrangements.
Refreshments will be available on site, and there is free parking available for visitors.
