The 2026 Penarth Exhibition is organised by the Barry and Penarth Model Railway Club and will take place at St Cyres School in Penarth. The event will be held over two days, with the first day running from 10am to 4:30pm on Saturday 11th July and the second day from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 12th July.
The exhibition will feature 16 model railway layouts and 10 traders selling a range of model railway related goods. Admission to the event is £8.00 for adults, with accompanied children under the age of 16 admitted free. The venue, St Cyres School, has a large car park and is fully accessible, with a flat surface making it suitable for visitors with mobility impairments.
Visitors travelling by train can take advantage of a vintage courtesy bus service, which will run regularly on both days from Cogan Railway Station to the exhibition venue. Refreshments will be available on site, and there is also the option to park for free in the school's car park.
