In the December 2020 Issue of Railway Modeller, we take a closer look at the highly anticipated Midland Railway 1532 Class from Bachmann.

Finished as 1273 in elegant Midland Crimson Lake, the model incorporates many of the features we come to expect from the brand, including;
. Diecast Running Plate and Chassis
. Next18 DCC Socket, with pre-fitted speaker
. Detailed cab interior with build in Firebox glow
. Plus sperate detailing pack, featuring cab steps and doors, screw-link couplings and steam heat pipes.

Here we see the 1P in action, paired with a short rake of Parkside Models Midland Railway Clerestory Coach, replicating a local branch line service of the period.
