How to Model Bulrushes using Noch Laser Cut Minis
This week we're looking at how to model bulrushes using Noch Laser Cut Minis. They are easy to apply and build up an effective mass of rushes, however, they are not cheap.
The items I used were Noch Schilf 14102 (HO scale) and 14608 (N scale). They are basically laser cut printed paper with a small hole at the centre in which you can put a pin to bend the leaves up around. It's a simple but effective method.
The Real World
Bulrushes or rushes are found along the edge of many watercourses and range from low green groups to taller bulrushes with the distinctive brown cylindrical flower heads.
