In the final week of our Halo diorama, we look at how we add that final layer of vegetation. Much of what I am using is from the Brother Scanncut videos a few weeks ago:

My Halo diorama is very large scale, around 1/9, so it's hard to find ready to use plants in that scale but dolls' house plants are really useful. If you are modelling smaller scales then the amount of ready made plants shots up with everything from Noch's Laser Cut Minis through to 1/35 laser cut ferns. There is so much out there that you should find something for every type for plant you will want to model.
Materials
Brother Scanncut plants
Dolls' House plants - try ebay for examples. I used the search term ferns or leaves
JTT 95593 O Scale Rhubarb Plants
JTT 95531 HO Scale Pumpkins
Faller Wassermelonen (181266)
White Glue (I use tacky glue as it's a bit thicker)
CA Glue and Zapper (Roket Blaster by Deluxe Materials)
Vallejo paints - I used Intermediate Green, Golden Olive and Olive Green plus Ice Yellow, Red (I had to use Tamiya for the Red as the Vallejo wouldn't mix up in the bottle) and USA Olive Drab
