In HM82 Mike Wild shows how he installed digital sound in a Hornby AEC railcar in the Staff Projects section. The decoder is a Howes Models LokSound decoder with short working DMU sounds loaded onto it - not perfect for the AEC railcar, but they certainly create the atmosphere. This video shows the freshly installed railcar running on Topley Dale, although in normal service this model is reserved for St Stephens Road. Read the full feature in HM82 - on sale March 13 2014.
