In HM83's DCC Handbook - a free 48 page extra magazine with the main issue - includes a feature on installing DCC sound into Hornby's Thompson 'O1' 2-8-0. The project uses a LokSound V4.0 decoder and Howes Models Thompson 'B1' 4-6-0 sound files with changes to the exhaust beat to match the smaller driving wheels of the 2-8-0.
