Industrial/Retail Unit Base Kit

A truly versatile kit that can be made up in many different formats. The door/window and shutter positions can be swapped around, or left as blank wall. It is easy, for example, to place them in the unit ends, where the shutters could allow trains to enter to make the unit into an EMU/DMU/Diesel Depot. This kit can be made up in full or half relief, and an extension kit (SSM315) is available to make it wider. Multiple kits can easily be joined together to make a building that is limited only by your imagination. Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model. Footprint: 168mm x 168mm (Stand Alone Format) or 336mm x 84mm (Half Relief Format)

Wills Industrial/Retail Unit Base Kit (part number SSM300) is a 1:76 scale building kit suitable for model railway and modelling projects. The kit is versatile, allowing the door, window and shutter positions to be rearranged or left as blank wall, and can be built as a full‑relief unit, a half‑relief unit, or expanded with the optional extension kit SSM315 to increase its width.

The kit can be assembled in a stand‑alone format of 168 mm × 168 mm, or in a half‑relief format of 336 mm × 84 mm. Multiple kits can be joined together to create larger structures, with the option of installing shutters at the ends to simulate an EMU/DMU/Diesel depot. All parts are supplied pre‑coloured; however, painting or weathering may be applied for added realism. Glue is required to complete the model.
