Signal Box

Based on the Saxby and Farmer design seen on many railways across Britain. Footprint: 90mm x 56mm + 40mm over staircase. The Ratio Signal Box Interior kit 553 will provide a wealth of interior detail. Don't forget SS89 Point Rodding, SS22 Lamp Huts and, of course, signals! Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism; glue is required to complete this model.

Wills Signal Box – part number SS48 – is a 1:76 scale model of a traditional British signal box, designed to resemble the Saxby and Farmer structures that were common on many railways across Britain.

The model measures 90 mm in length, 56 mm in width and, with the optional staircase fitted, a total length of 130 mm. The footprint of the main box is 90 mm × 56 mm with an additional 40 mm extending over the staircase.

The box is supplied with pre‑coloured components, although painting or weathering may be applied for added realism. Assembly requires glue. An interior kit (Ratio Signal Box Interior kit 553) can be added to provide detailed interior furnishings, and the model can be complemented with Wills accessories such as SS89 point rodding, SS22 lamp huts and various signals.
