History:
The result was the first 4-6-0 design to run in Britain. Sharp Stewart of Glasgow delivered all 15 during 1894. The last was withdrawn in 1940 but the LMS saved pioneer No. 103, which, having worked railtours in the 1960s, is now on display in Glasgow's Riverside Museum.
Rapido's Jones Goods has the usual high specification you’d expect from a Rapido model:

Rapido Highland Railways Jones Goods 4‑6‑0 Steam Locomotive No 109, HR Drummond Green II (DCC Sound) is a limited‑edition model released as part of the “Rails of Sheffield” range. It carries the manufacturer part number 914508 and is available exclusively from Rails of Sheffield and Locomotion Models. The model is equipped with DCC sound capability.
The locomotive represents Highland Railway No 109, built in 1894 by Sharp, Stewart & Co. (works No 4028). It is presented in plain green livery as it appeared between 1916 and 1923, and includes details such as a Cumming number plate, “H.R” on the tender, the number on the buffer beam, a louvred chimney with a large cap, safety‑valve lock‑ups, a tablet catcher and tender doors.
Historically the “Jones Goods” series were the first 4‑6‑0 locomotives to operate in Britain, with fifteen units delivered in 1894. The class remained in service until the last engine was withdrawn on 31/12/1940; one example (No 103) was preserved and is now displayed at Glasgow’s Riverside Museum.
Rapido’s version offers a high‑specification build that includes fine detailing, sprung buffers, a smooth and powerful motion, NEM coupler pockets, firebox flicker, a high‑quality paint finish and a factory‑fitted sound speaker.
