Anyone who knows anything about the Mettoy (later Corgi) site in Swansea will instantly recognise the Ken Williams truck with its distinctive colour scheme. In 1984 the General Toys part of the 14 acre site was sold off, which included the original W factory. It was split up into around 50 units, which were then used for numerous types of business - one of these units was let to Ken, who took extra care to maintain the look of his recovery vehicles.Ken has since moved to a much larger site and has a huge variety of recovery trucks .

Oxford Diecast Ken Williams Recovery Truck – 1:76 scale. Manufacturer part number SP017. The model depicts a railway recovery vehicle from the period of rebuilding the railways.
The truck is noted for its distinctive colour scheme, immediately recognisable to those familiar with the former Mettoy (later Corgi) works in Swansea.
