The market town of Reading grew up around a 13th century abbey and its industries centred around biscuit making, brewing and engineering. Buses first operated in 1919 and AEC was a major supplier of chassis to them for many years.This model shows the familiar cream and maroon livery used by Reading Corporation Transport.
