One of the first purchasers of second hand RT's was A & C McLennan of Spittalfield, Perthshire, which bought five in 1958. It later added to these acquiring ,we believe, at least seven from other sources. This RT sporting the Charlie Stuart livery was operating in Perth in the summer of 1966.

Oxford Diecast McClennan - 1:76 Scale model (Manufacturer Part Number RT008) is a die‑cast replica of a British Railways early‑crest locomotive. The model is produced at a 1:76 (OO gauge) scale and represents the period of British Railways before the introduction of the double‑arrow logo.
The model depicts an RT type locomotive in the Charlie Stuart livery. It is based on the unit that was observed operating in Perth during the summer of 1966.
A & C McLennan of Spittalfield, Perthshire, were among the earliest buyers of second‑hand RT locomotives, purchasing five in 1958 and later acquiring at least seven additional units from other sources. The model reflects this historic ownership and livery.
