This Routemaster is in the Southend livery. Southend on Sea is a town, and seaside resort in Essex, England. Home to the longest leisure pier in the world built in 1830. The Southend Pier which stretches 1.34 miles (2158m) makes the area a great tourist attraction. Although suffering numerous fires and even a boat collision in 1984, the pier still stands strong today. The entrance to the pier hosts a whole range of seafront entertainment including amusement parks, aquariums a bowling alley and a casino.
