Robert Laidlaw Haulage Ltd of Falkirk was founded by the current owner/driver Rab Laidlaw in 1972, with a Dodge 16 ton truck with tipper body. Today, his modern fleet also includes Volvos, Leyland DAF's and Scanias, each wearing the eye-catching red and blue tartan. The thrust of his business is servicing his major clients, as the chief contractor for Calor Gas in Scotland. The D-TEC trailer is suitable for the loading of containers from all of the popular Railway scale brands. The rear section can hold 45,40, two 20 or one 20 foot container. It also splits into 2 sections.
