The Volvo 245 Estate was one of the most popular choices of the day and its registration plate XHM 477T dates it from 1978-79.

Exterior trim is silver with black bumpers and grille, which also features the signature diagonal Volvo marque and badge across the radiator. In contrast, the interior of our Volvo 245 Estate is black.

These cars just ran and ran and were so manoeuvrable, they could turn on a sixpence! They were also so easy to park, despite their estate car length! No wonder their popularity clocked up a vast production of over 962,000 from their Swedish plant between their launch in 1974 to the end of manufacture in 1993.
