We launched the 1:43 version of the Volvo Amazon and now, for the benefit of smaller scale followers, collectors, we are delighted to include it in our 1:76 scale range as well. The

Amazon, designed in real life by Jan Wilsgaard as a large family car with a production life spanning from 1956 to 1970. The Amazon also appeared as a 2-door coupe, 4-door saloon and a 5-door estate car, with a total production quantity of over 650,000, of which over 234,000 comprised the Amazon 4-door saloon version, the subject of our Oxford replica.

Decorated in pale green with a darker green interior, the vehicle is registered JHO 887E. The distinctive front radiator grilles are silver on matt black with additional exterior body trim finished in silver/chrome on a black chassis. The Volvo marque is printed on the rear, with a fine little finishing touch of a GB sticker.

It is a die‑cast replica of the Volvo Amazon 4‑door saloon, a car designed by Jan Wilsgaard and built between 1956 and 1970. Over 650,000 Amazon models were produced in real life, of which more than 234,000 were the 4‑door saloon version that this model replicates.

The Oxford die‑cast version is finished in a pale green body colour with a darker green interior. It carries the registration JHO 887E. The front radiator grille is rendered in silver on a matt black background, and exterior trim is supplied in silver/chrome on a black chassis. The Volvo badge is printed on the rear, and a small Great Britain sticker adds a finishing touch.

This model joins the existing 1:43 scale Amazon in Oxford’s range, offering collectors a smaller‑scale option while maintaining the same level of detail and accuracy.
