With new legislation and better economy, it is slowly replacing many of the older FX4's and TX2's in London. With local councils adopting new policies, it is also becoming the taxi of choice throughout various towns and cities in the UK. Trials of the TX4 are also taking place in cities around the world, but wherever they go they are still known as the London Taxi.
