The Action on Cancer graphics say it all on this Oxford fire appliance, which is presented in a special pink sleeve featuring the story behind the vehicle. A minimum of £2.50 from the sale of each fire engine is being donated to Cancer Research UK.

Decorated in the signature pink colour scheme of the Action on Cancer charity, the Scania Pump Ladder also carries all the finite details of the real vehicle. Registered DK 57 FKU and bearing the Merseyside Fire Services crest on each side of the cab, note the addition of the night scan mast lamp in white on the front passenger side and the blue and white light bar on the roof of the cab. Even the Scania name on the front is printed in pink, as is the charity website address above the front windscreen.
