The colour scheme for Oxford’s fourth 1960s Scooter release certainly echoes the regal mood of the moment with its gleaming gold bodywork and red ,white and blue Union Flag emblazoned on the sides. Even the wheels are gold with white wall tyres. The curved number plate round the front mudguard reveals our scooter is registered HJB 925.Further detail includes a black seat with backrest, a gold and white spare tyre fixed behind, as well as silver trim to footplate, handlebars and headlight surrounds. It would certainly cut a dash even today, zipping through the traffic.
