Manufacturer description

Bus enthusiasts will be pleased to see the crossover from Oxford's N gauge to 1:76 scale of this AEC Routemaster from the early 1960s, decorated in the highly visible dark blue, mid blue and yellow stripe design of Kelvin Scottish, which makes it doubly attractive to our Scottish bus collectors. Registered EDS 288A, its destination boards indicate it as travelling on the No. 5 route to Easterhouse, stopping at various places between Clydebank and Edinburgh Road along the way. We particularly love the cartoon character on each side of the front destination blinds inviting passengers to 'HOP ON'!

Oxford Diecast Routemaster Kelvin Scottish – Model 76RM113

This 1:76 scale die‑cast model reproduces an AEC Routemaster from the early 1960s, painted in Kelvin Scottish’s distinctive blue, mid‑blue and yellow stripe livery used during the British Rail Blue (pre‑TOPS) period. The vehicle carries the registration EDS 288A and is fitted with destination boards indicating service No 5 to Easterhouse, with stops between Clydebank and Edinburgh Road. The front destination blinds feature a cartoon figure on each side displaying the slogan “HOP ON”.

The model is aimed at collectors of British bus models, particularly those interested in Scottish operators and the crossover from Oxford’s N‑gauge range to 1:76 scale.
