Oxford Diecast Safari Land Rover Defender 90 is a 1:76 scale die‑cast model produced by Oxford Diecast. The model bears the manufacturer part number 76LRDF013 and represents the Land Rover Defender 90 as it appeared during the rebuilding of the railways period (registered S339 YOL, 1998/99). It measures approximately 5.4 cm in length.
The real Land Rover Defender 90 was first produced by the British car manufacturer in 1983 and was originally named the Land Rover Ninety, a reference to its wheelbase length in inches. It later adopted the Defender name in 1990. The vehicle is known for its steel ladder chassis, aluminium alloy body and a reputation for rugged off‑road capability, being used by both military and civilian operators.
The die‑cast model is finished in a black and white zebra‑like pattern, with black stripes on the cab roof and a white roof section. Black exterior trim is combined with silver wheels that have black centres, and the interior is also black. The model includes large windows and a sunroof, reflecting the vehicle’s appeal for safari and adventure settings.
