Manufacturer description

Land Rover’s Discovery Series II spanned the marque’s manufacture at the Solihull plant between 1998 and 2004 when it was superseded by the Series 3. It had been enhanced to look less utilitarian than the Series I, both inside and out.  From 2002, some ‘facelift’ features had been introduced including newly styled headlamps, newly designed brake lights on the rear, as well as indicators being moved higher up the vehicle from their previous bumper position. The extended rear provided more cargo space and the interior seating was now all forward facing.  You can appreciate these physical features on our 1:76 scale model.

The Oxford model is registered NR04 YEB from 2004, the last year of production. After previous releases in metallic green, gold and red, it makes its fourth appearance in white with smart black exterior trim with dark grey internal floor.  It features authentic silver ‘alloy’ wheels and a finishing touch sees the Land Rover badge on the rear door with the Land Rover Discovery Td5 designation printed in silver and black.
