Manufacturer description

From its launch in 1981 right up the present day, the Ford Cargo has been the perfect box van for deliveries, truck rentals, small removals and the like, taking advantage of its solidity, roomy storage and ease of loading and unloading. Here we see it as used by Royal Mail's Parcelforce Division, registered J984 NVM from 1991/92, featuring their corporate identity of the day together with compass in blue and white dropped shadow on the red truck body. The name, telephone number and slogan 'The Power to Deliver' are all printed across the back doors with external trim finished in black. The 1:76 scale truck will not only appeal to Royal Mail enthusiasts but would sit well in a 00 gauge railway yard too.

Oxford Diecast Ford Cargo Box Van – Parcelforce edition

The model, identified by manufacturer part number 76FCG005, represents a Ford Cargo box van from the British Rail sectorisation era. It is produced in 1:76 scale and depicts a vehicle registered J984 NVM, which was in service with the Royal Mail Parcelforce division during the 1991–1992 period.

The livery reproduced on the die‑cast model includes the contemporary Parcelforce corporate identity, featuring a blue and white compass logo with a dropped shadow on a red bodywork. The rear doors display the name, telephone number and the slogan “The Power to Deliver” in black external trim. The van’s solid construction, spacious storage area and easy loading design make it suitable for representing deliveries, truck rentals and small removals.

The Oxford Diecast Ford Cargo Box Van will appeal to collectors of Royal Mail memorabilia as well as to enthusiasts of 00 gauge railway modelling, where it can be placed in a yard setting.
