Manufacturer description

The Mediterranean island of Malta is legendary for its fleets of British vehicles of all kinds and this refreshing yellow Dennis fire appliance is a fine example. The St John Rescue Corps of Malta is a voluntary organisation established in 1986 to provide rescue aid and services during community events and large-scale rescue operations. This 1991 Dennis Excalibur Water tender/Ladder appliance, donated to the organisation by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, represents one of the St John Rescue Corps vehicles in use at such events. With an authentic Maltese registration plate TFI 714 the model features the St John Rescue Corps graphics on the front and the sides. The main body colour scheme is yellow with red/orange chequered effect to the sides, silver applied to shuttering, ladders and cab side steps and red/orange chevroned rear. The roof is amply provided with ladders and the roof also features red air horns and blue roof beacon lights. The chassis and remaining trim are all black.
