Spanning five generations of the marque between 1962 and 1982, the Cortina in all its guises has been a firm favourite as an Oxford replica from roads to rally to race and in different scales too. Our Mk II model appears in 1:76 scale this time in a dark cherry colour, which you have seen before on our Mk I version too. It is registered OPJ 156E from 1967. Ford Dagenham first produced the Cortina Mk II in 1966 on a design from Ford’s Roy Haynes, with a 2, 4 or 5 door saloon classification.
Our model is the two door version sporting the characteristic wide front grille with the headlights embedded into it. Exterior trim is finished in silver in sharp contrast to the deep red body. The rear features the Cortina Super badge and the interior is moulded black.
