D.Di Mascios impressive fleet of ice cream vans worked the streets of Coventry and surrounding areas for more than half of the last century. Such was their influence a new word came into the local dialect; asking for a 'D. Di' can still be heard occasionally even today. The Di Maschio name is from Valvori, near Cassino in Italy. Their first premises were in King William Street around the 1930's, others opened later in Smithfield Street and Clay Lane. There are over 70 vehicles that are known to have been in the D.Di Mascio's fleet, the Anglia was the last. The last Anglia, the 105E, appeared in 1959 and when it ceased production in 1967 over 1,000,000 units had been produced. With a top speed of 73.8 mph it could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 26.9 seconds. Variants included an estate and a panel van.

Oxford Diecast Di Maschios – 1:76 Scale is a die‑cast model produced under the part number 76ANG039. The model depicts a British Rail Blue vehicle from the pre‑TOPS era.
The miniature represents a Di Maschios ice‑cream van, a type that operated in Coventry and surrounding areas for more than half a century. The original Di Maschios business began in the 1930s on King William Street and later expanded to Smithfield Street and Clay Lane. Over 70 different vehicles are recorded as having been in the Di Maschios fleet, with the final model – an Anglia 105E – appearing in 1959. Production of the Anglia ceased on 31/12/1967 after more than 1,000,000 units had been built. The vehicle was capable of a top speed of 73.8 mph and could accelerate from 0‑60 mph in 26.9 seconds. Variants included an estate version and a panel van.
