Manufacturer description

As an alternative to our R8250 Controller, the Analogue Train and Accessory Controller features an improved, heavier casing, as well as an additional uncontrolled DC output with integral capacitor discharge unit (CDU) to support solenoid point motors. The Auxiliary output can also be used to power lighting on the layout up to a current of 150mA. A recessed reduction switch also limits the output to reduce loco speed.

This item does not include a transformer. However, the required P9000 Transformer can be purchased separately.

The Hornby Analogue Train and Accessory Controller is a model railway accessory designed for use with OO gauge trains. It features a 5 pole skew wound motor and has a black finish. The controller measures 106 mm in length and has a painted finish.

The controller is designed to provide an alternative to the R8250 Controller and features an improved casing. It includes an uncontrolled DC output with an integral capacitor discharge unit, which allows it to power solenoid point motors. The auxiliary output can be used to power lighting on the layout, with a maximum current of 150mA. A recessed reduction switch is also included to limit the output and reduce loco speed.
