For modellers who already have their own buffer stops and are busy populating existing layouts, this economical twin pack of Buffer Lights in OO Scale is an ideal way of introducing these lights to a model railway.

The Lights simply clip to the track - no wires are required. These can be used in front or behind a buffer stop or free-standing at the end of a siding.

This easy to use item gives you “Instant Gratification” as when used on DCC, both LED lights are on constantly; while on DC layouts, one light will come on and vary with the speed of the train. They certainly help you bring your layout to life.

Model details

Gaugemaster Buffer Stop Lights OO Scale (2) are supplied as a twin pack. Each unit measures 21 mm in height and 15 mm in width and is identified by the manufacturer part number GM56.

The lights are designed to clip directly onto the track, requiring no wiring. They can be positioned in front of or behind an existing buffer stop, or used as free‑standing lights at the end of a siding.

When fitted to a DCC layout both LED lights remain illuminated continuously. On a DC layout one light will illuminate and vary its intensity in proportion to the speed of the passing train, adding visual activity to the model railway.
