Specific Locomotive History
Built for the Ministry of Supply in June 1945 and delivered as number ‘73779’ with works number 25625. The locomotive’s only recorded allocation under British Railways is noted as 65F Grangemouth. While the engine was allocated to Grangemouth it was renumbered from ‘73779’ to ‘90755’. The locomotive was withdrawn on 29th December 1962 and scrapped at Campbells in Shieldhall.

Ellis Clark Trains OO Gauge C1006A WD 2‑10‑0 Austerity, BR Black, Late Crest ‘90755’ Era 5 – DCC Sound is a model of a British Railways 2‑10‑0 Austerity locomotive. It is supplied in OO gauge with the manufacturer part number C1006AS and represents the British Railways Late Crest era.
The prototype was built for the Ministry of Supply in June 1945 as works number 25625 and entered service as locomotive 73779. It was allocated to 65F Grangemouth, where it was renumbered 90755. The locomotive was withdrawn on 29 December 1962 and later scrapped at Campbells in Shieldhall.
