Built for the Ministry of Supply in July 1945 and delivered as number ‘73790’ with works number 25636. The locomotive’s first British Railways allocation was to March shed. While here the locomotive was renumbered ‘90766’ during 1948. On 9th July 1949 an allocation to 66B Motherwell came followed by a reallocation to 65F Grangemouth on 17th January 1959 where the locomotive remained until withdrawal. From here the engine was moved to Campbells in Shieldhall for scrapping.

Ellis Clark Trains OO gauge model C1002S represents a WD 2-10-0 Austerity locomotive in British Railways plain black livery (number 90766). The model is intended for the “Big Four” era and is supplied in OO gauge with both DC and DCC capability.
The locomotive was built for the Ministry of Supply in July 1945, works number 25636, and entered British Railways service as number 73790 before being renumbered 90766 in 1948.
