Dapol's 45 Foot Container Hi Cube Twin Pack is a model of a standardised container designed to represent those used in the rebuilding era of the railways. This era, which followed World War 2, saw a significant increase in international trade due to the benefits of containerisation.

The development of containerisation brought numerous advantages, including improved security, greater flexibility, and reduced transport costs. Containers of various lengths are available, with the 45 Foot length being one of the options offered by Dapol.
