Bachmann 6‑Pin 90° DCC Loco‑Decoder (part number 36‑556RA) is a dual‑mode DCC/DC decoder intended for Graham Farish N‑scale Class 3F “Jinty” (item 372‑21x) and Class 64XX “Pannier Tank” (item 371‑98x) locomotives. The decoder is supplied ready for use and is manufactured for Bachmann Europe by Soundtraxx.
The unit provides NMRA‑compliant DCC operation with 14, 28 or 128 speed steps, short or long addresses and advanced consist addressing. It also supports conventional DC control and includes a back‑EMF speed‑regulation feature. Motor control offers a continuous current rating of 1.0 A, silent 15.6 kHz pulse‑width modulation, adjustable acceleration and braking, fifteen preset speed curves and a 28‑point user‑programmable curve. Two powered function outputs are available, each capable of 100 mA, with NMRA function mapping and a selectable default address of 3.
