Accurascale ICI Hopper – 1950s to 1973 – Twin Pack C is a highly detailed OO gauge (1:76.2) model of an ICI limestone hopper, produced under manufacturer part number ACC3066. The model represents the British Railways Late Crest period and the sample shown is decorated; the final model may differ.
The kit includes a 16.5 mm track gauge wagon weighing about 44 g, with a minimum radius of 2. Detailed interior features rivets, framing, strapping and supports, while the chassis and bogies show separate vacuum brake gear, hoses, hopper‑door controls, handbrake wheels and brake gear. The body is supplied in multiple pieces and the wheels are RP25‑110 profile OO gauge with separate brake blocks. Metal buffers and removable NEM coupler pockets with mini tension‑lock couplers are provided.
Three bogie types are available – the original diamond‑frame, plate bogies with oil axle boxes and plate bogies with roller bearings – together with three body lettering options: small ICI, large ICI and no ICI. All components are finished in the correct livery for the era and wagon type represented.
