Short wheelbase vans were a prevalent feature of the railways in the 1900s, used for transporting all manner of dry goods, such as canned items, boxed commodities, or manufactured tools. Many such vans eventually ended up in private ownership and this RailRoad OO gauge model depicts a fictional company: ‘O. M. Raeburn’ based in London who specialise in the fabrication of precision tools.
