This charming LB&SCR 4-Wheel Full Brake Coach No. 90 looks incredible in its London Brighton & South Coast Railway Lined brown livery. The distinctive 4-wheel coach returns with new guises, this time covering operations in the south of England during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Perfect for pairing with the delightful A1/A1X Terriers, these diminutive coaches are based on designs typical of the early steam era and make for a fine addition to your model layout, be it a picturesque branchline, busy station scene or heritage railway!

History
Although trains in the late 1800s and early 1900s were largely made up of six-wheel vehicles that had replaced four-wheelers to give a more comfortable ride for passengers, this wasn’t needed for vehicles that were intended only to carry passengers’ luggage, hence the ‘full brakes’ were simple four-wheel vehicles.
